Windows 11.1 Download: There are indeed some changes that we will take time to get used to. But that’s not something to worry about, right? We got used to Windows 98, Windows Vista, and Windows XP to get used to this also.
Windows 11.1 has a fantastic interface as far as we have judged it now. It is pretty stable, and it lets all the other apps work without an issue. So, let’s dive deep into the new version of Microsoft and see some awesome technology tweaks.
Windows 11.1 Download: The First Impression
After we went through the Windows 11.1 download, we looked at the start menu. Again, it seems pretty similar to the version of Windows 10X. But, the taskbar has gone through some significant visual changes this time.
All the app icons are centered here, the tray area is clean, and there is a new start menu. The new start menu is more straightforward than the Windows 10X version. In addition, there are recent files and pinned apps on this menu.
Microsoft has added a new edge of rounded corners throughout the Windows 11.1 version. For example, the start menu, context menu, and File Explorer have rounded corners. In addition, there’s a new icon in the taskbar named widgets.
Now. When I first clicked on this widget icon, it did not load. That’s obvious since it’s just the beta version of the OS. But, rumor has it that the widget button will provide quick access to weather, news, and other web content.
Since the app icons are centered now, it looks a little odd to us. But, it’s a more straightforward approach, and we will indeed get used to it. In addition, Windows 11.1 has new snap controls to access from the maximize button. It lets us snap windows side by side and arrange them in sections.

Some Notable Features of the Windows 11.1 Version
I tried to gather feedback from some of the available tech professionals. But, I found out that not all the computers are yet supporting the Windows 11.1 download. So, I have to give you the feedback based on what I found when I downloaded it on my Dell Inspirion 13 laptop.
Smartphone Integration
Yes, you can integrate your Smartphone apps into your desktop screen, which is not something new in Windows 11.1 Download. But, the new thing is that you will get a better onscreen view of core phone apps like text and call. Also, I guess the music feature will pop up on the onscreen view, but it is disabled now.
The best thing I found was that I could easily drag a photo from my phone to my desktop screen. We don’t need to go through the hurdles of copying and pasting anymore, it seems. You could also drag the photos from your phone to your desktop email without wasting much time.
User Interface
When we open the index of apps on Windows 11.1, it gives us the feel of a smartphone. They are alphabetically listed, so it was easier for me to find the app I was looking for. If we want to switch to the complete app list, it does take one more step than the previous version. However, it’s just a matter of time before we get used to it.
The layout of the settings button is quite different. I look for software updates more often in the settings menu, which is visible in the list. But some may find other requirements hidden in some submenus. So, it will take some time to get used to the new Windows 11.1 version.
Performance
Well, for performance, I won’t give it full marks yet because it is not fully optimized. It’s true that when I opened it on my Dell laptop, I didn’t find any performance degradation. Neither the system showed me any update feature.
But, there is nothing notable about Windows 11.1 version performance yet, which was missing in the last version. However, the version has not been officially released yet. So, maybe we will notice some performance boost when Windows 11.1 will officially be launched.
