In the Pokémon franchise, you always play a child, but by the conclusion of your trip, you’ll have amassed more wealth than most adults could ever hope for. Granted, making money in the Pokémon Legends Arceus world is often easier and more enjoyable than in the actual world, but a large sum of money is just as useful to a trainer in our world as it is in ours.
On the same hand, the early stages of building up that revenue might be difficult, and with Pokémon Legends: Arceus bringing so many new things to spend money on, at much higher rates, you might never feel like you’ve climbed over the hump.
Even if you’re playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus in the past, money will still impact how many items, resources, and even upgrades you may obtain. Trainer battles were once the most convenient way to get cash, but now that they’ve been largely removed from this new entry, you’ll have to find other ways to replenish your bank account.
However, there are many methods to make money, but most of them are insignificant in comparison to the more expensive items you will require and desire. These are the tips you’ll need if you want to catch as many Pokédollars as possible in Pokémon Legends: Arceus as quickly as possible.

How to make money in Pokémon Legends Arceus
In most Pokémon games, you only acquire items and never sell them, however, there are lots of objects in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that have no other purpose than to be sold. The majority of these can be obtained in the open world or as occasional prizes for completing various tasks. You may definitely sell a lot more stuff, but there are four in particular that you should keep an eye on in order to sell for a lot of money right soon.
Step 1: Stardust is a reasonably frequent item found across the world that sells for a reasonable 1,000 Pokédollars. Most regions have Tumblestone ores (look for the ones that sparkle) or space temporal distortions where you can find it. While that’s a nice start, you’ll eventually have a much better use for it, which we’ll discuss later, that can make an even bigger profit.
Step 2: Star Pieces are the older, more valuable sibling of Stardust, which you can make with a few other elements or obtain as a quest prize. Again, these serve no use other than to make money, so don’t be afraid to sell them for 5,000 Pokédollars per piece.
Step 3: The second-highest-value item you may sell is nuggets. These spheres of what appears to be pure gold are worth a whopping 10,000 Pokédollars. They are, however, much less prevalent.
Step 4: Comet Shards are the most valuable item you can sell. These can only be received through a few high-level requests or discovered in space temporal distortions, which we’ll discuss later. Each of these costs a whopping 15,000 Pokédollars.

Farm treasure
Now that you know which goods are the most desirable to sell, there are a few prime locations on the map in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to harvest for these important resources. Aside from the previously mentioned methods of acquiring items, you can also find a lot of great loot inside crates and treasure chests scattered throughout the regions. Tossing your Pokémon at one of them will allow you to bash it open and collect up the prize within.
Most crates and chests do not contain super-valuable treasures, however, there are special glowing chests that contain the best and most valuable items. They have a good possibility of dropping Nuggets, which are worth 10,000 Pokédollars once again. Here’s the most efficient approach to farm for high-quality crates and chests.
- Play through the game up until you unlock the Cobalt Coastlands area.
- Navigate over to the Deadwood Haunt area toward the south of the zone, where you will find a shipwreck.
- Smash all the crates in the area.
- Leave and reenter the zone to repeat the process.
- Once you’ve unlocked the Coronet Highlands Summit Camp, you will get an even better money-farming location.
- Go to the Sacred Plaza and go down into the Celestica Ruins.
- Run through the ruins, breaking all the chests and crates, more of which should be glowing.
- Rinse and repeat until you’ve got enough cash.

Enter every space-time distortion
Because space-time distortions are random events, this is a more situational technique to make money. The loot you can find within them, on the other hand, makes it well worth interrupting whatever task you were working on to jump inside.
- Space-time distortions won’t start appearing in your game until you’ve reached the second Star Rank and opened up the Crimson Mirelands.
- Once you get notified that a space-time distortion has appeared in your area, open your map and head to the location.
- Once formed, go inside the dome and look for items littering the ground. Some of these rare items can be Star Pieces, Stardust, Nuggets, evolution stones, and colored shards, among many more.
- Scoop up as many as you can, but beware of the higher-level Pokémon inside!
Craft Star Pieces to sell Pokémon Legends Arceus
We’ve previously seen how much more precious Star Pieces are than Stardust, yet Star Pieces are far harder to get by than their dusty cousins. That’s where craftsmanship comes in. Rather than selling your Stardust for 1/5th the price of a Star Piece, craft them into Star Pieces for the most efficient money farming. Here’s how to accomplish it.
- Go to the Craftworks and purchase the recipe for Star Pieces for 10,000 Pokédollars. This is a little steep, but the investment will more than pay off.
- Gather the necessary ingredients to craft a Star Piece, which is: 3 Red Shards, 3 Blue Shards, 3 Green Shards, 1 Stardust. All of these colored shards can be found in space-time distortions.
- Sell your Star Pieces for maximum profit.

Challenge the Miss Fortune Sisters
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will ultimately come across a trio of sisters known as the Miss Fortune Sisters (or bandit trio). After your introduction task, where you fight them, you can fight them again for possibly the highest payout in the game. Unfortunately, it is not a very dependable way of grinding. This is how it works.
- Beat the Fortune Sisters after beating The Counterpart mission and The Lordless Island mission.
- Once these are complete, there is a random chance of encountering any of these sisters out in the world. They will approach you and challenge you to a battle.
- Defeat them again and earn up to four nuggets, which is a massive 40,000 Pokédollars for just one battle!
- While there’s no technical limit to how many times you can repeat the battle, this is another method that’s purely random. The best advice is to just keep going out into zones and always be ready for one to pop up so you don’t miss out on this easy payday.
Catch ’em all!
Finally, there’s the tried-and-true strategy for making money that the game encourages you to employ. Getting a Pokémon. This isn’t the most lucrative technique to make money, but it’s consistent and can be done alongside other strategies. It should be noted, however, that the amount of money you receive each time you turn in a survey report is linked to your overall rank. The higher your rank, the more money you get for putting in the same amount of effort.
On your survey report, you will be paid for the following: Total number of Pokémon captured, Number of new Pokémon captured, Number of different Pokémon species captured, Number of Pokémon caught with a back strike, Number of Pokémon caught inside a space-time distortion, Number of Alpha Pokémon captured
To maximize your report payments, try to catch Pokémon in certain ways, in large numbers, and of various species as often as possible.
