Windows 11 2022 Update: Microsoft has identified a new problem with computers running the Windows 11 2022 Update. The issue may reduce performance by up to 40% when copying large multi-GB files.
“There is a performance regression in Windows 11 22H2 when copying larger files from a remote computer down to a Windows 11 computer,” as explained by Ned Pyle, the Principal Program Manager for the Windows Server engineering group, in a blog post. “When copying down a large (multi-GB file), the throughput may be reduced by up to 40% compared to SMB.” This problem is not visible when copying the same file to a non-22H2 machine (writing).”
However, there is a temporary workaround for this bug. Pyle recommended that affected users use robocopy or xcopy with the /J (unbuffered I/O) parameter when performing copy operations. This appears to restore the previous version of Windows 11’s throughput. The company also claims to be working on a fix for the problem in a future update.
Pyle points out that the issue is not limited to the SMB protocol, as Windows 11 users may experience the same slowdown when copying large local files.
This is one of the few issues related to the Windows 11 2022 Update. After the upgrade last month, PC games experienced stuttering and frame rate drops. Nvidia was quick to issue a patch. At the same time, Microsoft confirmed that the update was causing some printers to malfunction.
The Windows 11 2022 Update is Microsoft’s first major update to its latest operating system. Windows 11 is now available for both Windows 11 and Windows 10 machines.

Firstly, open the File Manager and Go to the folder where you save Windows 11 activator by following the guide here
Find the Microsoft Activation Script 1.3, then right-click on it.
Click on the Extract button (This will create a new folder)
Open Microsoft Activation 1.3 folder that is created recently by extracting the zip file.
There are two folders here, simply open the All-In-One Version folder.
Then right-click on the Command Prompt file and select Run as Administrator.
