OnePlus released the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T in 2022, but the company is already working on its next flagship smartphone. And, given that OnePlus usually releases new products on a fairly regular basis, we should see the OnePlus 11 sometime early next year. More OnePlus 11 rumors about the phone’s design, specs, and other features are beginning to circulate. Here’s everything we know about the OnePlus 11 so far.
OnePlus 11
While rumors about the OnePlus 11 Pro have circulated, that may not even be the phone’s name. Though the OnePlus 11 Pro is expected to be the next flagship, the “Pro” moniker is very likely to be dropped in favor of the OnePlus 11.
But don’t be fooled by the lack of “pro” branding; the OnePlus 11 will still be loaded with pro features.
There is also talk that OnePlus is working on a new device called the OnePlus 11R. This phone could have a 6.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, it will not be OnePlus’ latest and greatest offering, as it may use the older Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. Other rumored specifications include 8GB to 16GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The OnePlus 11R is said to have a 5000mAh battery with 100-watt charging.

OnePlus 11 Design
The OnePlus 11’s design has not been confirmed, but there has recently been a leak of what the OnePlus 11 could look like. The “first look” is a render based on an early prototype of the device, so the final design may change once the device is officially announced.
According to this rendering, the OnePlus 11’s camera island may have a half-wraparound design. However, unlike previous designs that included three lenses and an LED flash, this appears to be a circular hump inside the camera island. Based on this rendering, it appears to be a mash-up of the OnePlus 10 Pro and the Huawei P50 Pro, but worse.
The phone’s body should be a glass sandwich with a thin metallic frame between the glass slabs. Because the glass will be curved on either side of the frame, you may notice that the front screen has a subtle curve. A hole-punch cutout in the upper-left corner of the front display will house the selfie camera. There haven’t been many new details about the OnePlus 11, but it’s been reported that it will have a 6.7-inch QHD + OLED screen. It will also have the hole-punch cutout in the upper-left corner for the selfie camera.
The alert slider appears to be making a comeback as well. Oddly, OnePlus removed this from the OnePlus 10T and received a lot of criticism for it, despite explaining that it was removed to make room for a larger battery and other hardware for fast charging and antennas. The alert slider appears to be on the right side in the renders, implying that OnePlus has found a way to accommodate the extra hardware while keeping the slider in place.
Though some speculate that it will be made of ceramic materials, this may not be the case. We won’t know for certain until the OnePlus 11 is released.
Processors and Software
The OnePlus 11 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was announced by Qualcomm at its Snapdragon Summit in November 2022, and it will be one of the first Android devices to receive the next-generation chip.
The OnePlus 11 will almost certainly come pre-installed with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. The OnePlus 11’s base model may have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, with the option of upgrading to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Expect no microSD card slot for expandable storage, as with previous OnePlus flagships.
The OnePlus 11 may be one of the first Android phones to feature UFS 4.0 storage, according to new rumors. For the record, UFS 3.1 is currently used by the majority of Android phones. Although the current generation is quick, the next iteration of UFS 4.0 will be even faster. Data speeds of up to 23.2Gbps are possible with UFS 4.0, which is rough twice the rate of UFS 3.1. This is due in part to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which now supports UFS 4.0.

Battery and Charging
According to rumors, the OnePlus 11 will have a 5,000 mAh battery, which is larger than the OnePlus 10T and has the same capacity as the OnePlus 10 Pro. It may also have 100W wired charging speeds, though this may be limited in the United States.
In comparison, the OnePlus 10 Pro offered 80W fast charging but was reduced to 65W in the United States. The OnePlus 10T faced a similar situation, offering 150W charging globally but only 125W in the United States.
OnePlus 11 Cameras
According to the most recent OnePlus 11 camera report, the phone will share the same camera setup as the Oppo Find N2 — Oppo’s rumored successor to the original Find N foldable.
It could have a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48MP IMX581 ultrawide camera, and a 32MP IMX709 2x zoom camera, according to the report. The Oppo Find N2 will have the same display, with one major difference: the Find N2 will have optical image stabilization (OIS), whereas the OnePlus 11 will not.
Despite the fact that the camera hardware is from Sony, the OnePlus 11 will reinstate the Hasselblad branding that was removed from the OnePlus 10T. Originally dropped with the OnePlus 10T to save on royalty fees on the less expensive phone, Hasselblad returns with the OnePlus 11. This is part of OnePlus’ three-year partnership with Hasselblad, which is primarily focused on image tuning and calibration for the best smartphone camera experience.

OnePlus 11 Price and Availability
OnePlus has traditionally released its flagship phones early in the year, usually in March or April. However, 2022 is an outlier because the OnePlus 10 Pro was released in China in January. The global version, on the other hand, will be released in March 2022. This is consistent with the release dates of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in April 2020, as well as the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R in March 2021.
Given that pattern, it should be available in March or April 2023, with a possible China-only launch in January 2023.
In terms of pricing, we anticipate the OnePlus 11 to be in the sub-$900 range, similar to flagships from other competitors such as the Google Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro, which start at $899 and $999, respectively. According to rumors, the OnePlus 11 could be one of the best smartphones to buy next year.
