Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED leads the world with its amazing 17.3 inches Foldable OLED. It is also known as FOLED touchscreen1 that folds down instantly to a compact 12.5-inches size, making it smaller than a sheet of photocopier paper for easy carrying. The color-accurate 2.5K slim-bezel NanoEdge Dolby Vision screen is also PANTONE Validated with TUV Rheinland-certified low blue-light levels.
Its ingenious multiple user modes are limited only by your imagination, and the detachable ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad turn it into a powerful fully-featured laptop with a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU and a stunning Harman Kardon-certified quad-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system. The innovative camera system includes a 5 MP webcam. An HD IR camera for fast face login, and a color sensor for automatic brightness and color temperature control.
Foldable screens have a tendency to draw a crowd, and the Zenbook 17 Fold is the latest and most exciting variant. It uses a larger 17-inch display, which makes for an enormous tablet. However, when folded down into laptop mode, you have a full 12.5-inch 3:2 screen to work with. Large enough to feel like a legitimate laptop replacement, unlike the ThinkPad X1 Fold, which is more closely resembles a netbook.

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED
ASUS is a laptop company that always come up with different device design and at CES 2021, it’s shown off another great design, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, which comes with a folding screen.
The Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED can be used as a 17.3-inch tablet, or folded into an ‘L’ shape for a more traditional laptop experience, with the lower half of the screen turning into a virtual keyboard. It can then be further folded away to easily carry around with you.

The foldable laptops have a 17.3-inch screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,920 when unfolded. It turns into a 12.5-inch upper screen with a 1,920 x 1,280 resolution when folded into its laptop mode.
If you don’t want to use the lower half of the touchscreen as a virtual keyboard. You can use the Asus ErgoSense Bluetooth physical keyboard. The addition of the physical keyboard does bulk up the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, however, which kind of defeats the point.
In addition, Intel mentioned foldable-screen laptops at its CES 2022 event that they remained unconvinced about these foldable laptops.
Foldable Laptop
The Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED seems to be packing some good hardware at least, with Asus promising the latest Intel CPU. The new 12th generation mobile chips, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and Harmon Kardon speakers. According to Asus, the hinge has been tested for 30,000 cycles. So hopefully the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is not prone to damaged screens along the fold, which plagued some early foldable smartphones.

The Zenbook 17-fold OLED screen sounds fantastic. Not only is it OLED, which offers excellent image quality, especially when it comes to contrast. The screen is also Pantone validated, supports Dolby Vision, and offers a 100% DCIP3 color gamut. If the screen is truly stunning, this could be the first foldable screen laptop that we’d actually want to buy. However, that all depends on the price. Asus didn’t mention anything, but we expect it to be very expensive.
