The Amazon Echo Show 15 is a wide, crystal-clear display that looks like a digital photo frame. It is 15 inches on the diagonal with a flat back, it looks perfectly at home mounted on a wall as a truly functional piece of art. It’s like a picture frame suggests the promise of the ideal smart home: A living space filled with normal, expected items that serve more than one purpose.
Echo Show 15 standout feature is its massive screen which is a huge improvement over the Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 8. At 15.6 inches across with a 1080p display, any and all content shows up clearly. It should come as no surprise, then, that Amazon poured a lot of work into the video options of the Echo Show 15.
You can watch Prime Video, Netflix, and Hulu on the device. You can as well watch YouTube through the built-in Amazon Silk web browser. It comes with an on-screen keyboard that makes it easy to perform a quick search for content; of course, you can also just ask Alexa to play the video you are looking for.
With such a large screen, the Echo Show 15 seems like the perfect addition to an office, especially with video conferencing in mind — except it doesn’t work with Zoom. Amazon says Zoom compatibility is coming in the next few months and will utilize the 5-megapixel camera found in the upper-right corner of the Echo Show 15.
Picture-in-Picture
The picture in the picture is a new feature that yields itself to everyday functionality. The best way to explain it is to illustrate it. If I have Hulu streaming on the Echo Show 15, you can ask Alexa to show one of your security cameras. It pops up in the upper-right portion of the screen and lets me check on things around the house without losing track of the plot.
Save your favorite compatible smart home devices to the Home screen for easy access, and control them all on one central dashboard. Add a picture-in-picture live camera feed to your screen so you can do things like check on the front door camera while watching a TV program.

Visual ID
The Visual ID is another new feature that comes with the device. It uses the camera on the Echo Show 15 to identify individual family members and change the display based on what is relevant to that person. Visual ID could be used to display individual to-do/chore lists for each child in the house, and the calendar could change to show who has an upcoming game or a project due.

Watch series and films, follow step-by-step recipes, and more. Enjoy Amazon Music with lyrics you can see on the screen, plus podcasts, radio stations, audiobooks, and news. For a multi-room music experience, you can connect to other compatible Echo devices.
With the Photo Frame feature, Echo Show 15 becomes a beautiful way to showcase your memories or personal style. You can transform the display into a full-screen dynamic digital frame that highlights your albums from Amazon Photos or Facebook, or available collections of artwork and stock imagery.
Protect your Privacy
Alexa and Echo Show devices are built with multiple layers of privacy protection. From the Mic/Camera Off button and built-in camera cover to the ability to delete your voice recordings, you have transparency and control over your Alexa experience. If you have enrolled in visual ID, Echo Show processes images on the device to recognize you. You can delete your visual ID at any time.

Personalized View
Family members can create profiles and then use visual ID and voice ID, so Alexa can recognize who is who and show the right information to the right person, such as appointments, reminders, recently played music, and more.
