This HP Spectre x360 laptop has a 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen for crisp, detailed visuals and smooth operation, and the backlit keyboard allows seamless typing in low-light environments.
It’s not often that we award a flawless review score to any 2-in-1 laptop, but discovering a notebook like the HP Spectre x360 14 is a rare occurrence. This fantastic laptop has a stunning “gem-cut” design, an amazing battery life, a great keyboard, and 2-in-1 functionality if you wish to convert it to tablet form to sketch, take notes, and so on. It has a little bit of everything and does it all pretty well.
The 3:2 touchscreen is a brilliant, vibrant, and inky black OLED display that is fantastic for creativity and media consumers. As is typical of HP laptops, there are numerous security features onboard, such as a facial recognition camera and a fingerprint scanner.

Dell XPS 13 OLED: Best Touchscreen Laptops
The Dell XPS 13 9310 thin touchscreen laptop is engineered with an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The touchscreen display offers to pinpoint accuracy for all of your computing needs. It comes with an Eyesafe that intelligently manages light energy at the source – selectively reducing harmful blue light and dispersing it across the light spectrum. Its unique solution combines RGB hardware and software adjustments to more effectively protect against blue light while maintaining vivid color integrity.
Equipped with 100% sRGB and 90% DCI P3 color gamut, your screen delivers saturated colors while a 1500:1 contrast ratio allows you to see the brightest brights and darkest darks. 500-nit brightness provides more clarity in bright light like outdoors, while a 0.65% anti-reflective coating cuts the glare of a glossy screen.
The XPS 13 is already one of our favorite laptops — a compact but powerful alternative that can be used in almost any setting — but not all variants include a touchscreen. This model does include touch capabilities on its UHD (3840 x 2400) resolution display, which adds a useful feature to a laptop that already has a lot of them, and there’s a 3.5K OLED display option that gives stunning colors and contrast.
This XPS 13 also has an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The model includes all of the most recent connection options, such as Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports, as well as Thunderbolt 4 ports that support DisplayPort connections. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, so you’re covered in terms of wireless connectivity. While the ultra-slim laptop can go anywhere, there’s still enough room for security measures like a fingerprint scanner and an infrared camera for Windows Hello.

Best Touchscreen Chromebook: Google Pixelbook Go
Google Pixelbook Go is the Chromebook laptop designed for life on the go. It’s barely 2 pounds and 13 mm thin, with up to 12 hours of battery life. It comes with an 8th Gen Intel Core Processor and Chrome OS keeps you moving fast. The Titan C security chip and built-in antivirus software help protect your data, so you can go without worry. And it works with Google Pixel, so you can get online easily on your Pixelbook Go or Pixel Slate using your Pixel’s LTE connection and do more on the go.
However, the battery performance is based on a mix of standby, web browsing, and other use. Actual results may vary. The battery performance is also based on a mix of video, web browsing, productivity, and other use. Charging time requires the battery to be at least 5% charged, the device to be inactive, and the use of the included charger.
Do you find that even the greatest Chromebooks have insufficient storage? Google has come up with a workable solution in the form of its 2-in-1 Pixelbook Go. It has greater power and space than other, more streamlined Chromebooks, allowing it to act as a more versatile laptop.
The Pixelbook Go has a 13.3-inch display that can be updated from full HD to 4K if desired. You also have a wide range of processor options, ranging from an Intel Core m3 to a Core i7, depending on your requirements. RAM capacities range from 8GB to 15GB, and storage capacities range from 64GB to a 256GB SSD disk.
The Pixelbook Go’s battery is rated at roughly 12 hours of regular activity, making it a long-lasting gadget. You’ll need a few dongles or converters, though, because it just has one USB-C connector and a headphone jack.

Best Budget Touchscreen Laptop: Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1
The Inspiron 14 series is dependable for individuals looking for low-cost computers (sometimes, this can also be a downside). The latest Inspiron 14 2-in-1 is a nice mix between a budget laptop and current technology that will last you for years to come; it’s a fantastic option for individuals who want to prioritize affordability while getting their money’s worth.
While the 14-inch display, which is larger than many of our favorites, is clearly a plus, the technology inside has all been thoroughly upgraded for the most recent options. On the base model, you get an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD for storage. The laptop is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and the most recent Bluetooth standards, so wireless connections should be no problem.
USB-A 3.0, HDMI 1.4b, and, happily, USB-C for newer and faster connections are all available. All are nicely positioned, emphasizing the sturdy, long-lasting architecture of this Dell laptop. This budget 2-in-1 doesn’t have a lot of storage, but the price is hard to beat when you consider the latest updates.

Microsoft Surface Pro 8: Best Detachable Tablet Touchscreen Laptop
The Surface Pro range has always been a high-end option for outstanding 2-in-1 devices, and the Surface Pro 8 adds several long-awaited improvements to the line that make it even more business-ready. If you’re looking for the greatest Windows 11 tablet, this is your best bet. It’s also our current favorite detachable tablet.
It has a bigger 13-inch 2880 x 1920 IPS touchscreen that runs at 120Hz and a variety of CPU options, including an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 chip for the best performance. You may also select up to 32GB of RAM (an increase from the Surface Pro 7) and up to 1TB of SSD storage, allowing this small tablet to become as powerful as you require.
There are also two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C connections, a first for the Surface Pro line, connectors for Surface Connect and the Surface Type Cover, and a microSDXC card reader. While the battery is rated for 16 hours, our tests revealed that the Surface Pro 8 fell short of that mark. The Surface Slim Pen 2 performs admirably with the 120Hz display and provides haptic feedback to make writing on a genuine sheet of paper feel more authentic.

Microsoft Surface Go 3: Best Touchscreen Laptops
The Surface Go 3 improves on the previous model’s inexpensive 2-in-1 in various areas, most notably with a faster 10th-generation Core i3-10100Y CPU option, which is a significant advance from the previous model’s 8th-generation CPU. It has the same larger 10.5-inch touchscreen, but the screen resolution has been upgraded to HD and the battery life has been increased to 10 hours. It’s also the lightest option on our list, weighing only 1.2 pounds, making it great for carrying around with you during the day – and one of the best laptops for college students.
You have the option of up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage, but we prefer the lower specifications that keep the price cheap. It’s the most affordable Surface device Microsoft sells at the entry-level, and it’s well within a wider variety of budgets. Ideal for individuals who do not require or cannot justify purchasing a Surface Pro. However, in order to fully utilize this 2-in-1 laptop, you must purchase the extra Type Cover.
We like that the Surface Go 3 has a USB-C port for the latest data connections, in addition to a Surface Connect port and a microSDX card reader.

Razer Book 13: Best Razer Touchscreen Laptop
We wondered if the latest Razer Book 13 was “nearly the perfect laptop” in our review. Sure, the battery life could be better, but with an outlet nearby, that’s not a big deal, and the rest of this full-featured laptop more than compensates.
While Razer is generally associated with gaming, this laptop belongs to the company’s more business side, with an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics under the hood — it’s also a little small to play games on. Buyers will, however, continue to receive Razer advantages such as the Chroma keyboard and vapor chamber cooling technology. The variant comes with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, which can be upgraded for further storage if desired.
The Razer Book 13 is also equipped with the most recent ports, including two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports, microSD, and HDMI 2.0.
